Our Story

More Than Just a Riding Lesson

At Horses and Hope, we believe horses have a unique way of drawing people closer to God. Head trainer Macey Booth founded this barn on a simple idea: that the patience, trust, and relationship required between horse and rider mirrors the faith journey each of us is on.

Located in Talmo, Georgia, our barn is a place where kids build real confidence, learn genuine horsemanship, and discover what it means to walk in faith — one ride at a time.

What Families Are Saying

Real Words from Our Barn Family

Don't take our word for it — hear from the parents and riders who call Horses and Hope home.

Horses and Hope is so near and dear to our hearts that it is hard to put into words what this barn family means to us. They teach horsemanship above all else. They instill the value of listening to your horse and truly connecting with them. This barn is a place of healing, growth, faith, and love — and we are so grateful to be a part of it.

The atmosphere is welcoming and supportive. It's amazing to see how much my daughter has grown, not just as a rider, but as a young lady. The instructors are not only knowledgeable and professional, but also incredibly patient, kind, and genuinely invested in every child's growth. This place is truly special.

Horses and Hope has been my home away from home for 2 years now. They have amazing horses that all have helped make me the rider I am today. Macey and Courtney are two of the most compassionate, beautiful people and I am so grateful to have found such an accepting and loving barn!

If you're looking for riding lessons or a horse camp for your kiddos, I truly can't recommend Horses and Hope LLC enough. This place has been such a blessing to our family. The presence of the Lord is truly felt here — the calmness, the love, and the stillness is indescribable. One of my favorite things is walking into the barn and hearing worship music playing. Everything here is so intentional and so special. I truly couldn't have found a better place for my girl. 🤍🐴
