Five Ways to Experience the Barn
Whether your child has never touched a horse or they're already walk-trotting on their own, we have a camp designed for them. All camps run 9AM–1PM and include riding, horsemanship, crafts, and faith woven throughout.
Beginner Camp
Ages 5 and Up
New to horses? This is the place to start. Beginner campers spend three days learning groundwork, brushing and caring for horses, basic riding, and taking part in fun activities like painting horses, a water slide, and crafts. No riding experience needed — just an eager heart.
Beginner 1-Day Camp
Ages 4 and Up
A mini beginner experience — everything the full beginner camp offers, packed into one action-packed day. Perfect for younger children or families who want to try the barn before committing to a full camp week. No horse experience required.
Intermediate & Advanced Camp
Lesson Students Only
Designed for riders who are already walking and trotting independently. Campers build on the skills they've developed in lessons with more structured riding, deeper horsemanship, and challenges that push them toward the next level of their riding journey.
Advanced Camp
Confident Independent Riders
For riders ready for a real challenge. Advanced campers tackle small jumps, bareback riding, horse anatomy, and saddle fitting. This camp is for students who ride with confidence and are ready to deepen both their skill and their understanding of horses.
Devotion Camp
No Horse Experience Required
Faith at the center of everything. Devotion Camp brings together riding, fellowship, FCA speakers, crafts, and dedicated devotion time focused on what horses teach us about Jesus. Open to everyone — this camp meets kids where they are, on horseback and in their hearts.

Devotion Camp
Devotion Camp is unlike anything else we offer. It's a day built around what horses teach us about Jesus — trust, patience, gentleness, and the courage to keep going. No riding experience needed. Every child is welcome, exactly as they are.
Devotion Time
FCA speakers and guided devotionals centered on what horses reveal about God's character and our walk with Him.
Riding & Fellowship
Horseback riding woven into a day of community, connection, and time together in God's creation.
Open to Everyone
No riding experience required. Two sessions — one for ages 10 and under, one for 11 and over — so every camper is with their peers.

Camp Prep
What to Bring
Pack your camper right so they can focus on the horses. Here's what they'll need for a great day at the barn.
Clothing & Gear
- Long pants — jeans or riding tights to protect legs from the saddle and stirrup leathers
- Closed-toe boots or shoes with a small heel (at least ½ inch) — no sandals, flip flops, or open-toe shoes
- Fitted shirt — avoid loose, flowing clothing that could catch or spook the horse
- Hair pulled back — braids, ponytails, or buns; keeps hair out of the helmet and face
- Riding helmet — required for all riders. We have a limited number of loaner helmets; bringing your own is recommended
- Change of clothes — beginner camps include water activities (water slide!), so pack a dry set
Food, Comfort & Supplies
- Sack lunch and snacks — camps run 9AM–1PM, so pack enough food to fuel a full morning of riding and activities
- Water bottle — refillable and clearly labeled with your child's name. Georgia summers get hot!
- Sunscreen — applied before arrival. Bring extra if your child needs a midday reapplication
- Bug spray — we're at a working barn outdoors, so come prepared
- Small backpack or bag — to hold their lunch, water bottle, and any personal items
- An open heart — the most important thing they can bring. Horses respond to calm, curious energy
